Theatre The Time Travelling Adventures of the Pirate Revlon Scarlet: The Search for Drake’s Gold @ The New Diorama Theatre
A family day for children of all ages to celebrate the Big Dance. Swing your way back to the 20th century and learn dances from the Lambeth Walk to rock and roll, make a fabulous flower or beastly bug fan to keep yourself cool and hear some summertime stories.

Special Event 5-4-3-2-1 Blast Off! @ Bunhill Fields with the Barbican Library
Join the Barbican Library team at Bunhill Fields and learn how to make and fly your own spacecraft.
All materials provided and there will be prizes for the most creative and for those that fly the farthest.

Playschemes
Playscheme @ The Sp@ce Child & Family Centre
The Sp@ce have activities for children twice a week in school holidays until the 21st August. Activities include day trips, cooking and making things.
Date: 23rd, 27th, 29th July, 3rd, 6th, 13th, 17th, 21st August. Closed from 23rd August to 6th September.

Time: Varies by day but generally between 9.15 and 3.15
Price: Depends on activity, some events are free.

Playscheme @ Holborn Community Centre
Activities everyday for kids at Bedford House, just off of Lamb's Conduit Street. Activities incluse gymnastics, ballet, crafts and trips to museums and Kew Gardens.
Date: Monday to Friday from 26th July until 27th August inclusive.
Age: Varies according to event, but generally from age 4 - 14 Years\

Price: Some activities are free, others such as gym and ballet are £2.50 for a 2 hour session.

Museum Summer Holidays, Funky Fridays @ The Museum of Childhood
A series of special events every Friday throughout the holidays featuring musicians, artists, performers, storytellers and more.

Special Event Barbican Weekender
A Barbican Do Something Different Weekend with a Surrealist theme, including a craft wokshop called Eccentric Accessories on Level 1 and a maze on the Lakeside terrace.

Special Event Shoreditch Games
Sports and games for children and young people in Shoreditch Park. Part of the Shoreditch Festival

Special Event Golden Lane Leisure Centre Funday
A chance to try water polo, sub aqua and other sports. The event will also have a bouncy castle, police horses, a fire engine and other stuff to entertain the kids.
Sub Aqua - Under 18’s must have parental consent to take part. Participants must be at the centre between 10.30am &12 noon to registers for sub-aqua session.
