swim4lifeFrom April 2009 both the City of London and Islington Councils are supporting the swim4life campaign to get more people swimming.
Anyone aged 16 or under can swim for free in their pools during public sessions until March 2011.
Register your child for a card to qualify.

Swimming Pools & Classes
All classes need to be booked in advance and there is often a waiting list. Please call venues for details on availabilty.
Golden Lane Leisure Centre
The Pool will close for refurbishment at the end of 2010.
Lessons
Ages: 3 - 15
Tues & Thurs after school and Saturday mornings during term time.
Intensive swim courses available for children during school holidays.
Family fun swim - Sundays 2 - 3pm
Children's Water Polo - Saturdays 2 - 2.30pm

Water Babies
Lessons held in a warm hydrotherapy pool
Age: Babies from birth
Classes at Golden Lane Campus on Friday afternoons & Saturday mornings
Courses start approx every 3 months and run during school term times.
Places get booked up very early, even before the baby is born! It is advisable to reserve a place as soon as possible.
